Sorry, I haven’t been paying attention. Was a car crash interrupted by a Labour Party poster launch, or something?

Humph
My old Labrador, Humphrey, seems to have entered his last stage. His hind legs are packing in. At first, when he was rescued, every day seemed a bonus. Now it seems a sin that he has to go.

Blair Peach (and Rastafarians)
I followed a couple of links from Bob, to Francis Sedgemore and History is made at Night, about the murder of Blair Peach. This is one of those issues that divides bloggers; the right have been, so far as I have seen, entirely silent on this. Equally, there are some things the left ignores. As [...]
Questions to which the answer is always no
While I’m memeing, here’s one I missed while not blogging. Has the Missing Link been found? Here’s a recent one from the Telegraph:

Why aren’t there demonstrations against the enslavement of millions of women who live without any legal protection? Why aren’t there demonstrations against the use of children as human bombs where there is conflict with Islam? Why has [...]

The tooth was broken during a rugby match months ago, when I joined play without having put in my mouthguard. Though fractured, it stayed put until a couple of days ago, when it just came out, quite painlessly, snapped [...]
A new global narrative
“Many other large crystals adorn my headdress – from Arkansas, New York, Tibet and Brazil. The crystals represent the living Earth. The feathers in my headdress are from the Rio Grande species of the North American wild turkey…”
Thus wrote James Richard Saunder, shortly before his arrest for criminal trespass. Do click through to see his [...]
