After the hysterical mother (is there any other kind?) finally calms down and sees sense he’d have spent 6 months or so remanded in custody, being treated in the kind and humane manner kiddy-fiddlers are while in prison, and he’d then go home to find his house looted, his family in care, his job gone and then have to live with his neighbours beating him up at every opportunity because, after all, he’d ‘got away with it’.
I’d have done the same. In fact, I probably wouldn’t even have reported it to anyone because it’s too dangerous.
